City of Moreno Valley Announces Lynda Davis as 2021 Volunteer of the Year

The City of Moreno Valley is pleased to recognize Lynda Davis as the 2021 Volunteer of the Year. The City Council officially recognized Lynda on September 6, 2022.
Lynda has been an integral part of the Community Enhancement and Neighborhood Services Division for over seven years as a dedicated volunteer.
“Lynda Davis exemplifies Moreno Valley’s spirit of public service and community beautification,” said Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez, Mayor of Moreno Valley. “A City is only as strong as its volunteers, and Lynda’s dedication to Moreno Valley has helped our City thrive. Thank you to Lynda and the scores of community volunteers who make Moreno Valley a special place to live.”
Lynda started volunteering for the City of Moreno Valley in 2015 when she joined the Code Enforcement team, and she has always gone above and beyond what is asked of volunteers. Lynda is generous with her time, and her extensive and valuable knowledge of clerical work makes Lynda a dynamic component of the Parking Enforcement team.
The City of Moreno Valley is beyond appreciative of Lynda’s continued dedication.

La ciudad de Moreno Valley anuncia a Lynda Davis como Voluntaria del Año 2021
La Ciudad de Moreno Valley se complace en reconocer a Lynda Davis como la Voluntaria del Año 2021. El Concejo Municipal reconoció oficialmente a Lynda el 6 de septiembre de 2022.
Lynda ha sido una parte integral de la División de Mejoramiento Comunitario y Servicios Vecinales durante más de siete años como voluntaria dedicada.
"Lynda Davis ejemplifica el espíritu de servicio público y embellecimiento comunitario de Moreno Valley", dijo el Dr. Yxstian Gutiérrez, Alcalde de Moreno Valley. "Una Ciudad es tan fuerte como sus voluntarios, y la dedicación de Lynda a Moreno Valley ha ayudado a nuestra Ciudad a prosperar. Gracias a Lynda y a las decenas de voluntarios de la comunidad que hacen de Moreno Valley un lugar especial para vivir".
Lynda comenzó a ser voluntaria para la Ciudad de Moreno Valley en 2015 cuando se unió al equipo de Aplicación del Código, y siempre ha ido más allá de lo que se les pide a los voluntarios. Lynda es generosa con su tiempo, y su amplio y valioso conocimiento del trabajo administrativo hace a Lynda un componente dinámico del equipo de Cumplimiento de Estacionamiento.
