City of Moreno Valley Orders Overnight Curfew
Order Effective Overnight from 8 p.m., June 2, to 6 a.m., June 3
For immediate release: June 2, 2020
The City of Moreno Valley has ordered an overnight curfew effective from 8 p.m., June 2, to 6 a.m., June 3.
In conjunction with the curfew order, City officials are recommending that businesses close between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. for safety reasons.
The curfew order is not intended to stifle freedom of expression. The City welcomes peaceful rallies and respects residents' constitutional right to free speech. The curfew is intended only to protect the safety of residents and property overnight.
The order does not apply to peace officers; firefighters; emergency operations personnel; individuals traveling to and from work; “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers” as designated by the State Public Health Officer; people experiencing homelessness and without access to a viable shelter; and those seeking medical attention.

de Queda Durante La Noche

La Ciudad de Moreno Valley ordenó un toque de queda durante la noche efectivo desde las 8 p.m., 2 de junio hasta las 6 a.m., 3 de junio.
Junto con la orden de toque de queda, los oficiales de la Ciudad recomiendan que los negocios cierren entre las 8 p.m. y 6 a.m. por razones de seguridad.
La orden de toque de queda no pretende contener la libertad de expresión. La ciudad da la bienvenida a las manifestaciones pacíficas y respeta el derecho constitucional de los residentes a la libertad de expresión.
